Dancin' Dave's Festival Camping
Have you ever wanted to attend a music festival, without the hassle of packing tents, sleeping bags, coolers and other cumbersome camping supplies? Now you can. Let Dancin' Dave's do the work for you. When you arrive at the festival, you will have a complete, clean campsite ready and waiting for your enjoyment. Rivers Edge Campground
This scenic park, owned and operated by Wilkes County, is located along the river bank behind the festival's Blue Lot parking area. These sites are available only with the purchase of a 3 or 4 day festival pass. This area has a restroom complex in addition to porta-johns and hot water showers (for a fee). Approximately 450 camp sites (up to 4 persons per site) with parking for one vehicle are available with regular shuttles to the campus provided. The festival site would also be easily accessible from this area by bicycle. Information concerning how to apply for one of the Rivers Edge sites can be obtained by calling (800) 343-7857. River's Edge offers limited self-contained RV campsites and one day camping (call (336) 651-7352 or email at emmgt@wilkes.net). YMCA Family Campground **HOT SHOWERS**
Wilkes Family YMCA is located on Hwy 268 adjacent to the Rivers Edge campground and the festival's blue lot parking area. There are 75 regular campsites, 25 campfire sites and 20 sites for pop-ups (no hook-ups). Each site costs $150.00. Site features COMPLETE USE OF THE YMCA FACILITY plus an outdoor restroom complex. Only one tent will be allowed per camp site. One vehicle per site rented will be parked in the parking lot adjacent to campground which allows easy "walk-in" to camp sites. The festival site is also easily accessible from this area by bicycle. All proceeds from the campground go to the Wilkes Family YMCA's Open Doors Program which awards financial assistance for programs and memberships to children and families in need. VFW Campground
The VFW property is located along the Yadkin River in North Wilkesboro, approximately 4 miles from the festival site. Indoor hot showers and restrooms, free firewood are available. Free transportation to and from all scheduled events. We serve breakfast from 8:00am until 11:00am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We also have a Snack Bar and Hot Dog stand open from 11:00am until 8:00pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. We will have bags of ice for sale.
Tent site for 2 persons: $25 per night or $70 for 3 nights; Pop-Ups/RV (NO hookup) $83 for 3 nights; Pop-Ups/RV maximum of 23ft (Electric & H20) $115 for 3 nights; Motor Homes/Campers up to 30ft (Full hook-up) $140 for 3 nights. Motor Homes/Campers 31-34ft (Full hook-up) $150 for 3 nights; Motor Homes/Campers 35-40ft (Full hook-up) $160 for 3 nights. These prices include up to 2 adults and 2 children (under age 12). Each additional child $3 per night, per child. Each additional adult $10 per night. Includes one vehicle pass for each site, each additional vehicle pass is $5. Dogs on a leash are allowed but owners must be responsible to clean up after them. We take VISA and Mastercard only but prefer that you mail us a check. Lots of night pickin. Wilkesboro Fire Department Campground (SewerFest)
The WFD campground is located two miles east of the festival venue. It features hot showers, free firewood, a heated building for jamming sessions, shuttles to the festival, concessions, and a raffle of a handmade guitar. One tent/one vehicle sites are available for $65/wk. RV sites with electrical hookups are available for $125/wk. For more information and an application form for reservations, click here. North Wilkesboro Rotary and Fire Department Campground
The North Wilkesboro Rotary and Fire Department campground is located three miles east of the festival venue. The campground features hot showers, level camping, fenced in camping area, large covered area for picking and jamming sessions. One tent one vehicle sites are available for $65/wk or $20 nightly. RV sites with full electric and water hookups are available for $125/wk. or $45 nightly. RV sites with no hookups are available for $90/wk. or $35 nightly. Moravian Falls Campground & Cabins
This picturesque campground is located approximately 4 miles south of town and has a shuttle to the festival venue. Advance reservations are available via check or money orders. The campground offers hot showers, tents and RV sites, electric and water hook ups. Call (336) 667-6150 for information about site type, availability and pricing.
Raccoon Holler Campground
Raccoon Holler is a family campground located on 80 beautiful acres just off the Blue Ridge Parkway between Mileposts 257 and 258 in the North Carolina mountains near Glendale Springs. We welcome RVs (motorhomes), 5th wheels, pop-ups, slide-outs, travel trailers, and tent campers. We provide hookups, dump station, laundry, and the other facilities you need. Circle K Stables
This scenic property is on Broadway Tower Rd. Located off NC 115. Easy access to 421. Approximately 5 miles from the festival site. Hot shower, toilets. Breath taking view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Family friendly, very peaceful and relaxing. Maximum of 4 people per site. Tents $30 per night. No RV's over 30 feet long. Warrior's Creek, Fort Hamby, and Bandits Roost
Bandits Roost opens April 1, 2010 and hours are 9am-9pm Sunday thru Thursday, 8am-10pm Friday and Saturday. Warrior's Creek opens April 15. Hours are the same as Bandits Roost. Ft. Hamby opens April 15, 2010. Hours are 8am-8pm Sunday thru Thursday, 8am-10pm Friday and Saturday. Hot showers, playground, swim beaches. Masonic Campsites on Moravian Creek
Liberty Lodge #45, founded in 1804, is conveniently located just two minutes off US Hwy. 421 at 1228 School Street. We are directly across the creek from the college campus so you can enjoy the music of MerleFest from the comfort of your campsite. The college will not allow you to ford the creek, but it is an easy 10 minute walk to the campus. Each campsite is about 20' x 20' and vehicle accessible.
We run a clean, neighborly campground with few rules other than the Golden Rule, and we pride ourselves on our many repeat customers. Liberty Lodge offers an all-you-can-eat hot breakfast for $6 per guest on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Our indoor shower has a dedicated gas water heater that virtually never runs out of hot water. We have five indoor toilets and several outdoor portable toilets, plus a large outdoor stainless steel sink for cleaning your camping cookware.
Reservations are for a minimum of two nights @ $40 per night, with a $100 maximum (per site). If you have not previously established yourself as a reliable customer, we will require a 50% deposit when we accept your reservation, refundable if you cancel by March 31. A $10 cancellation fee will be assessed on all cancellations. After 3/31 all deposits are non-refundable.
Returning customers who pre-booked for 2010 will be contacted by us several weeks in advance to reconfirm (please e-mail us ASAP if your contact information has changed).

VanHoy Farms Family Campground
VanHoy Farms Family Campground is located in Union Grove, Iredell County, North Carolina. It has 40 full hook-ups, 60 pull through sites, and 2 cabins, along with special sites for primitive campers. Amenities include modern bathhouse featuring clean restrooms and hot showers, hiking trail, pool, indoor and outdoor arenas with concerts and events year-round. High Country Motorcycle Camp
Motorcycle Only Campground located on 14 beautiful mountain acres with creek (765 Stony Fork Rd in Ferguson) approximately 20 miles from MerleFest Location. Facilities include clean, well-kept bathhouse (with hot showers!), picnic tables, fire rings, grills, and lots of space for tent camping: Reservations necessary for cabin and bunkhouse. Miller's Camping
Miller's Camping is located on the idyllic Blue Ridge Parkway in the heart of downtown Laurel Springs, NC. It is one of the few campgrounds with a direct access road from the Parkway. Miller's Camping is honored to note that the North Carolina Mountain to Sea Trail passes through the campground. The campground includes amenities for adults and children from every walk of life. There is a country/crafts store stocked with basic camping supplies. The campground has a pool table, two ponds, ample woods and hiking available. A gazebo with wireless internet capabilities. The campground also offers a public bath house which includes laundry facilities and hot showers for weary hikers and campers.
