An Exciting Opportunity to work for a worthwhile cause AND experience a fabulous festival of music, moments and memories!

MerleFest is a major fundraiser for Wilkes Community College. Come and be a part of this important event. Volunteers who work a 4-hour shift at MerleFest, receive entrance to the festival for that entire day!  Many thanks to everyone who volunteered for MerleFest 2009!  Applications for MerleFest 2010 are now available!

MerleFest would not be possible without the endless dedication of our many volunteers! A huge thank you goes out to all who  helped us to present another successful festival in 2009! Since the festival's beginning in 1988, its size, scope, and complexity have grown dramatically. In 2009, we had a total of 4,257 individual and group volunteers who worked over 44,959 hours!  

Many of our volunteers return year after year, but we are always looking for new ones who would like to be a part of our MerleFest volunteer family. If you would like to find out more about the volunteer opportunities that MerleFest has to offer, visit our volunteer opportunities. To be considered, you must first fill out an on-line application or request a volunteer application to be mailed to you by contacting the Volunteer Coordinator at 336-838-6264.
